Our art expression offerings are guided by the same principles we learn from The Horses, presence, safety, curiosity, and connection, without pressure or expectation.
Just as horses communicate through the body, sensation, and energy rather than words, art allows us to express our inner world in a non-verbal, honest, and regulating way.
Through gentle, creative expression, thoughts and emotions are given somewhere to go. This supports the natural discharge of stress, reduces overwhelm, and helps the nervous system return to a state of balance.
These sessions invite you to slow down, notice, and respond rather than perform or achieve.
In this space, self-discovery unfolds naturally. Mindfulness and presence deepen. Creativity becomes a pathway to relaxation, emotional clarity, and empowerment.
As with The Herd, everything is done with consent, autonomy, and respect for individual rhythms.
There is room for play, stillness, fun, and connection, both with yourself and others. You are met where you are, exactly as you are, and supported to reconnect with your innate wisdom through creative expression.
Our individual expressive art sessions offer a gentle, supportive space to slow down, feel safe, and reconnect with yourself, alongside the calm presence of The Herd.
These sessions are not about being good at art or achieving an outcome. They are about listening inward, exploring what is present for you, and expressing it in ways that feel natural and unforced.
Using simple art materials, you are invited to notice, reflect, and express at your own pace. The horses are not asked to perform or engage. Their presence supports grounding, regulation, and connection, while your autonomy and choice are always honoured.
Sessions are guided with care, curiosity, and respect. You decide how you participate, how deeply you go, and what you choose to share.
No art experience is needed. You are welcome exactly as you are.

Our Open Art Group is a monthly, creative gathering held in the presence of The Herd.
